This half term has gone by in the blink of an eye, it’s so hard to believe there is just one week left.
It was lovely to see a white coating on our school during the week. There were lots of very excited faces around school – and that was just the adults, we’re all big kids at heart! We will wait and see if next week is to bring us more snow.
We have welcomed a number of visitors to school this week, a report from Penguin Class can be found below with pictures of their exciting activities. Many of our visitors have commented on how well behaved our Year 1 children are, which is always fabulous to hear. Well done Penguins!
After school club forms have gone out this week, Cooking Club and Cartoon Drawing club have proved most popular and so are now full. Please make sure you get reply forms into the office ASAP as there are still spaces available in the other clubs more details can be found below. In response to parental request for a wider range of clubs look out for Professor P on the playground before School on Monday.
Today’s Golden Worship was a very busy one. It always wonderful to see our children achieve so much, last Saturday our football players did extremely well in the West Wight Sports Centre Farmhouse Breakfast Tournament, the “Brighstone Bluebells” made it to the final and only missed out on the trophy on penalties. You can read more detailed reports of the tournament below but I am reliably informed that all players represented the school wonderfully. Certificates have now been given to all players for their efforts. We are very proud of you all!
Have a great weekend.
