Dear Parents and Carers,
‘Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow,’ Mary Anne Radmacher. We are now in our fifth week of our worship theme linked to Courage. Over the past two weeks we have thought about being reflective and working together in our learning, playtime and daily lives. It is important that we are able to reflect on the things that have gone well and the things that we might have done differently, learning from mistakes and building on positive experiences.
Last week our year 6 children completed their Level 2 Bikability course; well done to all of them for achieving this. This was especially challenging as the weather conditions were exceptionally cold, they showed great resilience and perseverance.
This week, on Tuesday 5th February, it was Safer Internet Day. This was a global event that we considered through our curriculum at an age appropriate level for every class. E-safety is an important issue that requires ongoing updating, education and support to ensure that our children are equipped to safeguard themselves. We would like to invite you to support us by having a look at some of the family resources that are available. More information on Safer Internet Day can be found using this website link:
Yesterday our reception class children enjoyed a visit to Briddlesford Farm. It was a great opportunity for them to learn by experiencing the work of a dairy farm first hand. We would like to thank Chris and Judi Griffin for making the children and staff feel so welcome
I hope you all have a restful and enjoyable weekend.
.Best wishes
