We were once again transported back in time at Brighstone Primary on Thursday. It was as though 100 years had rolled away and we were in 1914. We had military personnel, nurses, villagers, school children and even royalty; it was a delight to see. Amongst all of this...
Issue 10, 14th November, 2014, Brighstone Buzz
I was deeply moved along with many members of the congregation on Tuesday by the poignant Remembrance Service in which we all took part. Year 5’s tribute to the Unknown Soldier was revealed and the sculpture will remain in St. Mary’s church until the 5th of December,...

Parent Survey – Feedback
Thanks to all parents who took part in our recent Parent Questionnaire. We are proud to report that 100% of parents who responded said that their child is happy and feels safe at our school. The responses this year also show an overall improvement in the school’s performance in meeting particular pupils’ needs, supporting learning, receiving information about progress and dealing with bullying – and it was great to see that you feel we are good at keeping you well informed.
Our thanks to all parents who completed the questionnaire.
