Dear Parents and Carers,
Sensational sparkle and sequins! What a fantastically festive week we have had!
Congratulations and well done to all of our children, their enthusiasm and participation in our school Nativity got the Christmas celebrations underway in real style. It was STRICTLY Christmas all the way!
Across the two performances the children shared the meaning behind the message of the Nativity story in a very special way. The children in year 2 were amazing; memorising lines and acting out the lead roles in a vey entertaining and skilful way. Especially thank you to all of the staff, who worked so hard on the rehearsals and preparations to ensure that the production was one that will leave the children with special memories of Christmas at Brighstone. We are also very grateful to all of the parents that helped to return the staging and equipment to school after the final performance, this made a real difference to the ease with which we were able to clear and tidy the church afterwards – it was very much appreciated.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have returned your Parent Questionnaires. They are one of the many ways that the school can receive feedback and it is important that we are able to reflect on the way in which we do things to support our children and parents. If you would still like to complete one, please do so and hand it into the office in the New Year.
.We return to school on Monday 6th January 2020.
Thank you all for your kind Christmas wishes, I hope you all have a peaceful and happy Christmas.
Best wishes – Mrs Fox
