What a fantastic last week of term it has been!
We completed our two fantastic performances of ‘Over by Christmas’ in the Church, I would like to once again thank you all for supporting both of these with such gusto. I am confidently informed that it was the busiest we have EVER seen it and the children excelled themselves despite last minute unavoidable changes. I recognise that several of you were frustrated either because you had to stand or because there were adaptations to the play and nativity. We will give great thought to how we will attempt to avoid this happening in future years without spoiling the wonderful spirit of our events.
Also this week, we were treated to a performance from our brass players. What a wonderful sound they all made from those that have been playing for only one term to those who are more experienced.
Panda class have been keeping their eyes peeled all week after receiving news that Rudolph had escaped and I’m pleased to report that they went on a hunt and found him and he has been safely retuned to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.
Christmas dinner went with a bang yesterday and we were thrilled to find out that we were on the list for a flying visit from Father Christmas himself this morning.
How wonderful was it to turn on the radio this morning and hear some of our children singing live? Well done to them all as it did mean an early start for them having to be at the radio station for 7am – the joys of show business!
All that is left to do is to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year! We look forward to seeing you on Monday the 5th of January!
