Dear Parents and Carers,
What a fantastic start to the term! We have an exciting and busy time ahead of us, the wide range of trips and activities planned to enhance the curriculum have already started.
Last week our Year 4 children went to Kingswood in Bembridge for their residential trip. They had an amazing time, facing up to challenges, working as a team and building resilience. All of the staff were impressed by their behaviour and attitude. It was a real pleasure to be with them. Well done to everyone. We would especially like to thank the BSA for their very generous financial support.
Over the past two weeks we have had four external sporting competitions or activities including Hockey, Handball, Netball and Cricket. Yesterday all of the children from year 2, 3, 4, and 5 took part in the Cricket Festival, this was a great opportunity for everyone to take part in a tournament with other schools. I would like to congratulate all of the children for their excellent example they set through positive participation and behaviour. Thank you to all of the parents that have supported their children by helping with the transport and thank you to the staff that have given up their time to accompany the fixtures.
I hope you all have a very enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend
Best Wishes
Mrs Fox
